EY Triathlon Challenge - Marbella Training Camp

Thursday 12th - Sunday 15th of May 2022

 

 

Hotel Puente Romano ***** This hotel is of the highest standard and located on the beachfront. You will be staying in junior suites (55m² suites with twin beds)

 

or (only 50m away)

 

Hotel Alanda Marbella ***** Also a high-quality hotel located next door to Puente Romano with freshly renovated rooms with views to the Golden Mile, Sierra Blanca Mountain, gardens or pool

Wednesday 11th

20.10: Arrival flight SK6015, transfer airport - Alanda Hotel (driver will be outside with a sign Group CST/EY GOT)

WATER: There is a small metal beachside "Kiosk" on the right side of Seagrill Restaurant (on-site PR), this is the easiest and closest place to pick up a 6-pack of large water for those in Puente Romano, he takes CC, but hours are irregular. For those staying in Alanda you can buy big bottles from Alanda hotel reception. Another option is SuperSol (Supermarket) 15 walk in the direction of Marbella

 

Thursday 12th

09.30: Set up bike / Pick up / Bike check. Meeting point is the "bike booth" just outside the PR tennis club. Note this will de the same place for the bike return. Susanne E, Joachim P, Nils L, Johan F, Sofie J, Elisabeth W, Boel R and Karin L. (YOU NEED ID and CREDIT CARD)

10.25: Arrival flight SK6015, transfer airport - Puente Romano (driver will be outside with a sign Group CST/EY STO)

12.00-13.30: Lunch and free time

13.30-14.30: Set up bike / Pick up / Bike check. Meeting point is the "bike booth" just outside the PR tennis club. Note this will be the same place for the bike return. 15.00-16.00: 45-60 mins distance run

Group one - distance - Coach Micke

16.00-18.00: 90 mins open water swim session - Coach Anna-Karin

18.00-19.00: Stretch and mobility session - Coach Rubin

19.45: Dinner at SERAFINA (on-site Puente Romano)

20.10: Arrival flight SK6015, transfer airport - Alanda Hotel (driver will be outside with a sign Group CST/EY GOT II)

 

Friday 13th

7.00-8.00: 30-40 mins morning jog + stretch Micke/Rubin

8.00-9.00: Breakfast

8.30-9.00: Bike pick up Rikard U, Per H and Per N. Meeting point is the "bike booth" just outside the PR tennis club. Note this will be the same place for the bike return. Rikard U, Per H and Per N. (YOU NEED ID and CREDIT CARD)

9.00-13.00: Long bike ride #1 (3-5 hours) - 2-3groups based upon experience & ability

Group one: 5hours Coach Putte

Group two: 4hours Coach Micke

Group three: 3hours Coach Selby

(Rubin will go with the largest group)

13.00-15.00: Lunch and free time

15.00-17.00: 90 mins open water swim session - Coach Anna-Karin

17.30-18.30: Stretch and mobility session - Coach Rubin

19.45: Dinner at BISTROT CASANIS (Marbella Old Town) Google maps LINK

 

Saturday 14th

7.00-8.00: Yoga and mobility - Coach Rubin

8.00-9.00: Breakfast

9.00-14.00: Long bike ride #2 (3-5 hours) 2-3groups based upon experience & ability. 

Group one: 5hours Coach Selby

Group two: 4hours Coach Putte

Group Three: 3hours Coach Micke

(Rubin will go with the largest group)

14.00-15.00: 30-60 min brick

Group one - Distance - Coach Rubin

Group two - intervals - Coach Micke

15.00-16.00: Free time

16:00-17:30: 60mins open water swimming - Coach Anna-Karin

17.30-18.00: Bike return to "bike booth"

17.30-18.30: Free time

19.45: Dinner SEAGRILL (on-site Puente Romano)

 

Sunday 15th

7.00-8.00: Yoga and mobility - Coach Rubin

8.00-9.00: Breakfast

9.00-14.00: Long bike ride #3 (2-5 hours) 3groups based upon experience & ability. 

Group one: 5hours Coach Micke

Group two: 4hours Coach Selby

Group three: 2hours Coach Putte

(Rubin will go with the largest group)

14.00-16.30: Free time

16.30-17.30: 45-60 min brick/distance run

Group one: 60mins - Rubin

Group two 45mins - Micke

17.30-18.00: Bike return to "bike booth"

17.30: Relax (Dinner from 1930)

17.45: Airport transfer leaves from Puente Romano reception - airport both STO and GOT groups (note that those staying in Alanda need to make their way to Puente Romano reception about 50m away)

Bikes: We strongly recommend you rent from Marbella Rentabike (30€-40€ per day), CST will help you with the process (before and during the trip). Early booking is essential as we can not guarantee this service at a later date. For details and cost, please follow LINK. If you decide to rent, please book your bike online with MRB; CST will organise the delivery to either PR or AH, please put "Joe Beaton" or "CST" in the reference. You have the option to fly with your own bike, and CST will help with the transportation and the destination to and from the airport

 

Price: 

Puente Romano; 11.500kr, including all taxes, three nights shared junior suite (with breakfast, twin beds), airport transfer upon arrival and departure (only with recommended flights), sports and training program. *Single occupancy +6.500kr, *extra night 4.500kr

Hotel Alanda; 7.500kr, including all taxes, three nights shared double room (with breakfast, twin beds), airport transfer upon arrival and departure (only with recommended flights), sports and training program. *Single occupancy +1.900kr, *extra night +1.600kr

Only training program and transfers: 5.000kr; if you wish to only participate in the training program and you organise your own travel arrangements. You are welcome to use the group transfers (only with recommended flights)

CST considers the best experience and value is to stay at Puente Romano (sharing), the rooms are very large, the resort is beautiful, and one of the best breakfasts around!

 

Payment terms: 6.000kr non-refundable deposit + any extras; the difference will be invoiced 60 days before travel

CST (Beaton International AB) is a registered Swedish Tour Operator. As a customer, you are protected by the Package Travel Directive. This means that if a travel package purchased is not executed, within reason, as stated in the travel information, the customer is entitled to refunds. As a customer, it is good to know that Beaton International AB has a “Resegaranti” required by Kammarkollegiet to guarantee client funds in the case of bankruptcy.

 

COVID-19: CST will follow the recommendations of the Swedish Foreign Ministry (UD). If the Foreign Ministry recommends against travel (during the trip dates), then 14 days and onward before travel you have the right to cancel with a refund. If CST cancels the entire trip, you are also entitled to a refund. The entire agreement and payment terms must be completed in the agreed timelines to be entitled to refunds. 

 

Insurance: We strongly suggest that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of this trip including loss of funds through cancellations (due to injury or sickness for example), loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death, inclement weather clause, pre-existing medical condition waiver. Payment with a credit card often includes comprehensive cover. 

 

Cancelling your trip: Payments made to CST are not refundable. Your trip is automatically cancelled if payments are not made according to the agreed timeline. You might be liable for the full cost of the trip if you do not cancel in writing according to the original agreement and according to the agreed timeline. 

 

 CST is not liable for injuries of any kind caused by any sport activity during this trip. By signing up for this trip, you understand that there is a certain level of fitness and health required to execute this sport program safely.

 

 CST is not responsible for personal property damage nor personal property theft at any time before, during, or after this trip.

 

 CST is not responsible for changes to the program due to third parties such as SAS or Norwegian; however, as mentioned above, flexibility will be provided wherever possible. 

 

CST is not directly responsible for flight rescheduling nor cancellations. You must follow the recommendations and procedures of the airline. CST will be helping you with this procedure.
