SLTK Club Tennis Trip, Malaga City 

Saturday 5th - Wednesday 9th, October 2024

CTM (Club de Tenis Malaga) is a new destination for CST, our aim is not just to provide great tennis at the destination but also show you some tennis clubs you would not normally have access to, this is a charming members club well worth a visit.​ This tennis club was founded in 1890, making it one of the oldest clubs in Spain; CTM moved to its existing facilities in 1968. This club has seven clay courts and will be a fun and classic Spanish tennis environment for this friendly inter-club.

 

Malaga City: You will not only enjoy an unforgettable tennis experience but also the opportunity to see Malaga. You can look forward to some tasty traditional food and local wines at the end of each day. Malaga is one of Western Europe's oldest continuously inhabited cities (founded 700 BC), it is a vibrant city full of history worth exploring. CST will plan optional traditional dinners each evening, feel free to join!

Melia Sol Guadalmar **** Located in the luxurious urbanization of Guadalmar on the beach in Malaga. With all the best comforts and services, such as rooms with sea views, excellent dining options and three swimming pools, two of them outdoors. This beachfront hotel is ideal for a relaxing holiday and also making the most of this extraordinary city.

Transport: You will have a private transfer service direct from Malaga Airport to the hotel (15 minutes) upon arrival and departure. Transportation from the hotel to the tennis club will also be provided each day.

(Preliminary times)

Tennis program (preliminary times): 12,5 hours per person on court.

               

  • Day 1 (5th): 15.00-17.00 (2 hours/pp)

  • Day 2: 11.30-13.00 + 15.00-17.00 (1,5 + 2 hours/pp). Lunch at the club

  • Day 3: 11.30-13.00 + 15.00-17.00 (1,5 + 2 hours/pp). Lunch at the club

  • Day 4: 11.30-13.00 + 15.00-17.00 (1,5 + 2 hours/pp). Lunch at the club

  • Day 5: Checkout and sightseeing.

 

Expect high-quality coaching, drills, exercises, and matches organised by coaches. Approximately half of the program (6,5 hours) are coaching sessions with 3-4 players + coach. The other half of the program (6 hours) 3-4 players per court with games and match play organised by your fellow tennis trainer/s from SLTK with help from local professionals.

 

Price: 16.300kr/pp Including flights, four nights hotel (shared occupancy), all tennis costs, airport transfers x 2, club transfers x 8. +3.300kr/pp single occupancy. Lunches/dinners are at an extra cost, around 22€ (set lunch at the club) and 50€-100€ (dinners, optional).

Group size: Maximum 24 participants + Cecilia (SLTK coach) + SLTK coach + Joe (CST coach and organiser) + local coaches from CTM.

Please read these terms carefully:

 

CST (Beaton International AB) is a registered Swedish Tour Operator. As a customer, you are protected by the Package Travel Directive. This means that if a travel package purchased is not executed, within reason, as stated in the travel information, the customer is entitled to refunds. As a customer, it is good to know that Beaton International AB has a “Resegaranti” required by Kammarkollegiet to guarantee client funds in the case of bankruptcy.

Force Majeure: You agree that we have no liability to you and will not pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by circumstances amounting to “force majeure”. In these terms, ‘force majeure’ means any event that has an impact on booked travel arrangements which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, pilferage, epidemics, pandemics, forced quarantine, medical or customs regulations, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control. We reserve the right to cancel, amend or reschedule the itinerary during or following any force majeure and if we do so you agree that we will have no liability to you for any direct or indirect consequences of the cancellation, amendment or rescheduling.

 

Insurance: We strongly suggest that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of this trip including loss of funds through cancellations (due to injury or sickness for example), loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death, inclement weather clause, pre-existing medical condition waiver. Payment with a credit card often includes comprehensive cover. 

Payments and invoices: Once you have signed up for a CST trip, you will be sent a non-refundable 6.000kr/pp deposit (plus any extras); the agreement is binding from the moment you confirm participation, invoices are due to be paid within 10 days, there is a 50kr fee for every reminder sent for late payment. 

 

Cancelling your trip: Payments made to CST are not refundable. Cancellations less than 60 days before travel are not accepted and full payment is required. 

 

Program rescheduling: Due to this being a group activity the program is set, if you decide to skip or not participate in a training session, this session is lost, and there is no possibility to reschedule. CST reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to the result of circumstances outside of the company’s control e.g. weather or road conditions/closures, strikes or airline disruptions etc. If additional costs are incurred these will be the responsibility of the client.

 

CST is not liable for injuries of any kind caused by any sport activity during this trip. By signing up for this trip, you understand that there is a certain level of fitness and health required to execute this sport program safely.

 

CST is not responsible for personal property damage nor personal property theft at any time before, during, or after this trip.

 

CST is not responsible for changes to the program due to third parties such as SAS or Norwegian; however, flexibility will be provided wherever possible. 

 

CST is not directly responsible for flight rescheduling nor cancellations. You must follow the recommendations and procedures of the airline. CST will be helping you with this procedure. 

Travelling coaches might be substituted if something unexpected happens, a coach of a similar level will take their place. 

 

Some photos may be taken during this trip by Joe Beaton, travel coaches or partners; by participating on this trip you accept that some of these photos may be used on the CST website and/or on some social media platforms.
