Please read these terms carefully:

Package travel protection and travel guarantee: CST is operated by Beaton International AB, a Swedish tour operator whose travel operations are registered with Kammarkollegiet. This trip is covered by the Swedish Package Travel Act (2018:1217). Beaton International AB has arranged the travel guarantee required under applicable Swedish regulations. This provides financial protection if the trip cannot be carried out or completed due to the insolvency of the tour operator.

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights available to the traveller under mandatory Swedish or European Union law.

 

Force majeure: CST may be required to amend, reschedule or cancel all or part of the itinerary because of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond its control. These may include war or the threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, epidemics, pandemics, compulsory quarantine, medical or customs regulations, adverse weather conditions, fire and other comparable events that CST could not reasonably have foreseen or avoided.

If such circumstances arise, CST will take reasonable steps to minimise their effect and provide assistance where required. The traveller’s entitlement to a refund, price reduction, assistance or other remedy will be determined in accordance with the Swedish Package Travel Act and other applicable legislation. CST is not liable for damages resulting from unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

Insurance: We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering the entire trip. The insurance should include cancellation protection, illness or injury, medical treatment, personal injury, repatriation, loss of or damage to baggage and personal belongings, travel disruption and, where relevant, pre-existing medical conditions.

Some payment cards and credit cards may include limited travel insurance. Each traveller is responsible for checking the extent and conditions of their insurance coverage.

 

Payments and invoices: Once participation in a CST trip has been confirmed, the booking becomes binding and the traveller will receive an invoice for a deposit of SEK 5,000 per person, together with any applicable supplements. Unless otherwise stated, invoices must be paid within ten days. A reminder fee of SEK 50 will be charged for each payment reminder issued following late payment.

 

Cancellation by the traveller: The traveller has the right to cancel the trip before departure. CST is entitled to charge a reasonable cancellation fee. The deposit of SEK 5,000 per person will normally form part of this cancellation fee. For cancellations made fewer than 60 days before departure, the cancellation fee will amount to the full price of the trip, less any costs saved by CST and any income received if the place can be resold. Upon request, CST will provide details of how the cancellation fee has been calculated, including any applicable deductions.

 

Transfer of the booking: The traveller may transfer the booking to another person who meets the participation requirements for the trip. CST must be informed as soon as possible before departure. The original traveller and the person taking over the booking are responsible for any actual costs arising from the transfer, such as an airline name-change fee.

 

Program rescheduling: As this is a group activity, the program and scheduled training sessions are fixed. If a traveller decides not to attend or participate in a training session, that session is forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

 

CST reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary due to circumstances outside the company’s control, including weather conditions, road closures, strikes or disruption to airline services. CST will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative. Responsibility for any additional costs will be determined in accordance with the Swedish Package Travel Act and other applicable legislation.

 

Shared rooms: If a traveller books a shared double-room package but no suitable roommate is available or can be found, the traveller may be required to pay the applicable single-room supplement. CST will make every reasonable effort to match travellers but cannot guarantee that a suitable roommate will be available. If no match is found, the single-room supplement will apply unless otherwise stated in the package description.

 

Sporting activities and personal health: Participation in tennis and other physical activities involves the risks normally associated with such activities. Each traveller is responsible for ensuring that they have the health, fitness and physical ability required to participate safely.

 

CST is not responsible for injuries resulting from the normal and inherent risks associated with the activities, unless the injury was caused by negligence on the part of CST or CST is otherwise liable under mandatory law.

 

Personal belongings: CST is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings before, during or after the trip, unless the loss or damage was caused by negligence on the part of CST or CST is otherwise liable under mandatory law.

 

Airlines and other suppliers: Flights, schedules and other services may be changed or cancelled by airlines or other suppliers. CST will inform and assist travellers and, where required, provide suitable alternative arrangements in accordance with the Swedish Package Travel Act. Any rights that the traveller may have directly against an airline or another supplier remain unaffected. Travellers must follow the airline’s procedures and instructions when making a claim directly against the airline. CST will provide reasonable assistance with this process.

Travelling coaches: The advertised coaches may be substituted if illness or another unexpected circumstance prevents them from travelling. Where possible, the coach will be replaced by another coach with similar qualifications and experience.

 

Photography and personal data: Photographs and videos may be taken during the trip by Joe Beaton, the travelling coaches or CST’s partners. This material may be used on CST’s website and social-media channels to provide information about and promote CST’s activities. Any participant who does not wish to be photographed or included in published material should inform CST.
